Press release Rodenbach Caractère Rouge 2014
Today was the press release of the new Rodenbach Caractère Rouge 2014.
The beer is actually based on the Rodenbach Vintage 2011. But it has macerated for six more months with fresh cherries, raspberries and cranberries. Fruity and healthy 😉
The feisty beer was combined with Vicky Geunes’ gastronomic creations… And off course, it matched perfectly.
24 Belgians / 24 Beers
A big thank you to Hilde Wintein for the lovely book ’24 Belgians / 24 Beers’.
The book presents 24 belgian celebrities, who selected their own favorite beer. At the Hop Museum in Poperinge you can visit the exhibition. It has a very large beer collection (more than 1500 beers), and only a small percentage of these beers is known by the general public. The project “24 Belgians / 24 Beers” will change this!
The exhibition runs from April 5 to 30 September.

The oldest pub Café Vlissinghe (1515) in Bruges has just made it’s own beer!
Fort Lapin: open doors
Went to the open doors @ Fort Lapin’s Brewery this month.
I tasted the Triple 8 and I can recommend it to you if you like a fruity and bitter taste at the same time!
