This weekend we payed a little visit to our neighbors 🙂
We started out at the Historium. You really need to go there with an open mind. It’s more of an experience and attraction than a museum. You are led into different chambers and with the audio guide you can follow a story. It’s made really life like with special effects (music, scent, objects)… It’s an ‘ancient’ love story (15th century), but I will not tell you anything about the content. No spoilers ;-). I think the tour was about 35 minutes.
After that you can have a drink at the Duvelorium. If you adore Duvel, you really need to go there. And you will definitely go crazy. I added some pictures so you can get an idea. Sorry for the poor iPhone-quality, but I didn’t have my fancy camera with me…
You can also buy three little beers to taste the different beers of Moortgat. You always get other beers. This time we had a ‘La Chouffe‘, ‘Maredsous‘ and ‘Liefmans‘. Price: 8,5 euros. (Click on the beers to order them online at my webshop Taste Belgium)
After that, you should of course visit the Bruges Beer Museum. It’s next door!
